Use projects#

Select the projects from which chatBHT should retrieve relevant information for a chat.

Activate a project#

  1. Open the chat you want to use.

  2. Open Chat history → Projects.

  3. Select the checkbox next to a project. You can select several.

  4. Check the project entries above the message field and ask your question.

Alternatively, use the folder icon to open a project’s files. On a ready document, Use project in chat activates its associated project.

Work with sources#

What requirements do the seminar materials specify for the term paper? Summarise them and cite the sources.

chatBHT searches the processed project files for passages relevant to your question. When sources are available for a response, they appear under Sources. Compare important statements with the original documents; selecting a project guarantees neither a relevant match nor an error-free answer.

A project is not a complete file attachment to every message. For large collections, a specific question is more useful than “Summarise everything”. Include the filename and the information you need where helpful.

Deselect a project#

Clear its checkbox or click the X on the project entry above the message field. The source is no longer selected for subsequent requests. Existing responses and the files in the project remain available.

A project is missing or provides no contents#
